The Cleethorpes Super Prix is a huge event and regardless of the detail and time spent covering every element of the meticulous planning and organisation, the running of the event on the day is helped by a team of volunteers who want to not just enjoy the day, but also put something back into our sport.
We need volunteers to welcome the riders, marshal the race, man the crossing points, put up banners, direct traffic and generally help out on the day.
All we expect is a commitment to the day and early arrival for briefing by a Sector Supervisor who will be responsible for the smooth running of their specific section.
It will be hard work, and it will be a long day, but you will be part of a Team who can be proud of being responsible for making the event work.
You will get a break and you will get refreshments and a meal as well as a gift as a thank you from the organisers.
You need to be 18 years minimum and of good health, and have common sense and although you do not need any previous experience, an understanding of Cycle Races would be a help.
We also need a number of you to take an increased responsibility and have good man-management skills to oversee small teams and ensure your specific area is run effectively and safely.
